Sawed and refined wood products can never be better than the raw material permits.
Rågsveden receives pine and spruce from a single, homogenous area of sand and moraine clay within a radius of approx. 100 km of the sawmill. Here, the trees grow slowly and are never felled until they are much more than 100 years old.

 

These densely grained trees provide raw material of consistently high quality – a level of quality that is passed on to the refined products.

 

The raw material is the first link in the unbroken chain of quality that distinguishes our company. Through its forestry department, the group provides forest owners with advice and service in the field of quality forestry practices, performs felling, weeding out, planting and other forest management services, and highlights consideration for production and environment so as to ensure greener forestry operations.
